Saturated Calomel Electrode
1. Please remove the cap before first time use.
2. If there is air bubbles trapped in the tube, please swing the electrode body to remove air bubbles.
3. There is a little KCl crystalloid remained in the solution to make sure the solution is saturated.
4. Please take off the side cap of the electrode, and refill solution from the side solution filling port.
5. After use, please dip the electrode into saturated KCl solution.
Ag-Agcl Reference Electrode
It consists of a Teflon cap with a AgCl coated Ag wire, a glass tubing, and a porous Teflon tip sealed into the glass tubing.
Porous Teflon tip has the following advantages: slow solution leak and more durability due to its perfect chemical inertness. However, you should still take good care of the electrode.
Alkaline Mercurous Oxide Reference Electrode
1. Take off the rubber cover at the part of the electrode interface.
2. There shouldn’t be air bubbles in the solution in salt bridge. Remove air bubbles of the tube before first use.
3. During measurement, the level of solution in salt bridge should be higher than the solution of the sample.
4. Store the electrode in alkaline solution.
5. Regularly replace with solution in the salt bridge and clean the internal wall of the electrode.
Mercurous Sulphate Reference Electrode
Platinum Conductivity Electrode
With relatively big size, platinum conductivity counter electrode(CS910) is usually used in the CS930 4-neck electrolytic cell.
In CS930 Cell, working electrode is usually CS921 Metal electrode or CS946 specimen holder.
Reference electrode is usually CS900 Saturated calomel electrode.
This set is usually used for corrosion field.

It is usually used in CS930 4-neck cell.
